The Red Lotus Sea (Talay Bua Daeng)
From about November to February, Nong Han lake at Kumphawapi, about 40 km south-east of Udon Thani, is covered in pink water lilies. Go in the morning, about 06:00–11:00, before the flowers close in the heat. You see them from a boat hired at the lake.
The lake is not on our fare list. Message us for a price for the ride there and back with the driver waiting; the boat is paid at the lake.

Where does the driver meet me at UTH?

What if my flight is late?
Give your flight number when you book: a person checks it before the driver sets off. The first 60 minutes of waiting at the airport are free; longer waits are quoted by message.
How do I pay? Can I pay by card?
In Thai baht cash to the driver at the end of the trip. Nothing is charged when you book and there is no deposit. If you can only pay by card, message us on WhatsApp or LINE and we send a PayPal payment link; a 5% fee is added. We never see your card details.
